entrepreneur with a Midas touch, she has launched successful
businesses in fashion design, interior decorating, wedding and theme
party planning, and motivational speaking.

Laureen believes there is something
wonderful, beautiful, and unique in everyone and everything and has
a gift for helping others to see what she sees. She can turn the
ordinary into the extraordinary and can often be heard reciting the
three Ps of gift giving: presentation, presentation, presentation.

Laureen is a popular motivational
speaker. She enjoys empowering youth and women through her seminars
and is author of a soon-to-be-published self-help book. She loves
to sing and spent several years traveling with the USO and other
musical and theatrical groups. Laureen made her television debut as
a telethon co-host for Jerry Lewis’s Muscular Dystrophy campaign.

At the age of ten, Laureen started
designing her own clothes and by her early teens was teaching
classes on turning rags to riches. At 16, she created her own
line of clothing, which she sold through a regional department store
chain. After modeling her own designs—and the designs of others—she
began coordinating fashion shows, large-scale parties, and other
events.

Laureen has coordinated scores of
weddings, and continues to do so when time permits. Her
attention to
detail, passion for the culinary arts, and zest for life have opened
many doors into the world of social entertaining, and have given her
the opportunity to put together amazing theme parties for a
variety of distinguished clients.

Laureen’s eye for color and feel for
fabrics makes her an in-demand interior designer. She was trained by and worked with Peter
Chase and John Bronson in New York City.
