The Thai observe many of the same gift giving customs as the Chinese. Migrations between the two countries in Thailand’s early history and generations of intermarriage between Thai and Chinese have blended many aspects of the two cultures. Some gifting customs depart from Chinese practices, however, so here are some tips to keep you on the right track.
